I love sharing the connections we find in ourselves with self-care.
When I was a teenager, I tried every self-care tip and trick I could find. I tried to read a book every day for a week, and I tried to take more self-care in general. It never really worked out, but I got really good at it in the end. I’m a lot more relaxed now, and I can feel that whenever I’m doing something I’m really enjoying. And that really helps me to focus on a more important part of my life, my health. It’s important to know that self-care isn’t just a matter of making time for yourself, but of taking steps to help yourself stay well and feeling good. It’s the same way when you have a health issue: getting the right care as soon as possible, and sticking with it, is key.
